Olivier is a Brooklyn native who attended Hunter College High School. He went on to graduate magna cum laude from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering with a degree in Physics and Mathematics.

Olivier has always been fascinated by learning new ideas and has a great passion for sharing those ideas with others. He believes that the key to effective tutoring is to introduce students to unfamiliar concepts in a gradual but captivating manner which builds upon more basic concepts that the students are already familiar with. To that end, Olivier uses specialized software to create engaging mathematical visualizations and prepare high quality review packets, explanatory notes, quizzes etc. for his students.

For Olivier, the most rewarding aspect of tutoring is witnessing a student's excitement when they understand a complex concept for the first time or hearing the joy in their voice when they share their achievements.

Besides tutoring Olivier loves to create fun and educational online videos, go on long 100+ mile cycling adventures well beyond NYC's city limits, summit the snow-covered peaks of the Adirondacks in the winter, and travel to remote places around the world.
